As I Say Goodbye to This Year…

Here we are again! Another holiday. I am sure a lot of people are celebrating tonight, but I am staying at home alone. This is a time of reflection for me, and I usually make peace with things that happened during the year.

I don’t plan on staying up or doing anything special. I just want to write while I have the chance. While the wind is still beneath my wings. Get while the getting is good, or whatever they say.

I should celebrate that I made it out of the halfway house. I got a decent job, and I am saving for a car. Things are good at this point. No major episodes this year, only a slight hiccup or two.

In case you aren’t familiar with what I mean by episodes, I suffer from Bipolar I and PTSD. I have episodes when I become incapacitated and out of touch with reality. I am writing a book about it at this time, called UNHINGED. It’s a memoir of my experiences living with mental illness over a five-year period. I won’t go into specific detail at this time, but I will be talking more and more about what’s in the book as time goes by. I just don’t want to give too much away at this point in time, so I am being vague.

I’ve been busy writing the days away, in the last few weeks. I am accomplishing a lot, and I am very proud of the progress I am making on this new book. I have two other books I have written that need revamped, and then I would like to try and get them published. I eventually plan to sell them on this website.

I have a lot of plans for this website and for Kline Consulting Solutions. Keep your eyes open for some new and exciting things happening in the new year. I hope to see the support group grow and to start accepting freelance work again. Lots of plans. Very exciting!

As we head out of this year and into the next, could we all remember to be kind? We never know what someone is going through, especially if they don’t tell us. We can all use a little sympathy and some compassion in our lives as we move through each day and into the next. A little kindness and caring can go a long way to someone who is really going through something at the moment. You might just be the things that saves their life. You never know…

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great night and a better tomorrow! Take care!

Sincerely, R. Kline

Three Shades of Glory

This was my favorite effort at blogging, and it began in 2007. That was the original Three Shades of Glory blog on Mistress Morning Glory’s website. I was Mistress Morning Glory, and I wrote that blog over the period of a year. At its high point, that blog had an audience of 40,000 readers a month. It was a BDSM-themed blog, and it was a lot of fun.

My next effort was a blog called Tempted by Desires. I wrote that blog in 2011-2012, and I posted it to the WordPress site. It was fun, but it wasn’t as much fun as Three Shades of Glory.

I never abandoned the idea of the Three Shades of Glory blog I had done in 2007 and 2008. I have been working on that blog off and on ever since its creation. I purchased another hosting plan in June of 2022, and I began working on a new version of that blog on my new website. This website was far different than my original one in 2007. It far exceeded anything I could have hoped for.

It had been a long time since I did any web design, and so many things have changed. I was able to add a store, chat rooms, blog, and a community. I thought the end product was astounding, and I was so proud. However, it never became anything. My efforts were cut short when my computer died, and I couldn’t afford to replace it. Everything just went south. Eventually, my hosting plan expired, and I no longer had access to my files. I am in the process of seeing if I can launch that website again and access my writings and other files. It would be very beneficial to writing this new book, UNHINGED.

I still won’t give up on the Three Shades of Glory. This is why I am bringing it up here and now. I have plans to expand this blog here and add that section of it. I have a lot of information and writings on my last attempt at a website, and if I can regain access to the files, I will have them installed in this blog.

Over time, you will see these categories expanding when that happens. Three Shades of Glory. A virtual representation of My Virtual World. There are three shades of Glory: the Light Side, the Dark Side, and the Gray Area.

Long before there were Fifty Shades of Gray, there were Three Shades of Glory.

Watch as I bring that blog back from the dead. It’s coming soon!

Sincerely, Goddess Gloria herself

The Last Day of the Year

It’s time to say goodbye to 2025. It’s time for remembering the ups and downs, the good and the bad. Try to make peace with this year before you move on to next year.

This isn’t just the end of this year; it’s the beginning of next year.

Do you have a resolution? I do. It’s to finish the book I am writing. I am very excited to git ‘er done.

Stick around this blog and watch it happen. I have a good start, and I might be sharing some excerpts soon. I also want to share some of my poetry with you. I want you to be able to sample what is available in my books before you buy them.

In the coming year, please feel free to reach out to me. I don’t mind, as long as it’s not weird. I will also be reachable in the community, where I plan to have a daily influence. I also started my own bipolar support group there. It’s free to join the community and make use of what’s available to you there.

Come back to my website and blog anytime you want! You’re always welcome here! Take care!

Sincerely, R. Kline

It’s a Good Day for Delivery!

It’s cold and windy, and I decided this is a good day for ordering something online. Forget about cooking tonight. I am treating myself.

I was busy working on UNHINGED today, while I am off work. I forgot about time and didn’t bother to have lunch. I realize this late this afternoon, and it’s almost time for supper. I am so glad there’s a pizza place a block away. The food got here fast.

And damn, that pizza was good! Some of the best I have had.

It was a very productive day. I spent time working on the “skeleton” of the book. That is like an outline that puts everything in the order I want the book to follow. It lays out the direction I want to take and defines specific parts or sections, which can later be turned into individual chapters.

This is probably boring as can be to you, and I am truly sorry. I am saving all the good stuff for the book. This blog (at this point, anyway) is mostly about the writing of the book. That might not be very exciting to some.

I plan on spending the evening doing the same thing I did all day. Writing. Planning. Organizing. After today, I feel like I am really getting somewhere. There’s so much to discuss and cover. I have a long way to go, but I am satisfied with my progress to this point. After I get further along, I will begin sharing some of my writing on this blog.

All of the photography you see on this website is all my own copyrighted works. For more than a decade, I have been compiling a collection of photographic works of my own. These are nature photography, landscape photography, portrait photography, real estate photography, and more. Photography is a hobby that I very much enjoy, as well as potentially being a source of income.

How was your day? How have you been? Were you busy? Did you remember to make time for yourself today? Relaxation and recuperation are important. Don’t forget to recharge yourself!

Thanks for stopping by! I have to get back to working on this book now. Have an enjoyable evening! Take care!

Sincerely, R. Kline

It’s a Cold Winter’s Night!

It’s freezing outside, and it was only 64 degrees in my house. I turned up the heat, and I am making a cup of mint tea. It started snowing a little while ago, when I was on my way home from an appointment. The wind is blowing so hard that it is snowing sideways!

I couldn’t wait to come home and settle in for the evening. There really is no place like home! I don’t think a day goes by without me counting my blessings for having a roof over my head again. It’s a wonderful feeling to someone who knows how it feels not to have a home.

The tea is going to taste very good while I settle in and get comfortable writing about a lot of scary experiences for my new book, UNHINGED. I’ve gotten off to a very good start on my memoir about the last five years. I hope it ends up being everything I dream it will be. Who knows? Maybe I am meant to be a writer after all.

The tea is ready, and it’s time for me to get busy with the book. This is enough blogging for now. It’s time for me to say good night. I hope you enjoy the rest of your evening! Take care!

Thanks for stopping by!

Sincerely, R. Kline

Please Join Our Community!

I created a community on this website, and it is free to join! I am hoping that this will become a safe place for those who suffer from mental illness (and their families and friends) to socialize and share online.

I created my own Bipolar Support Group, and I hope someday others will be in it. I have a lot to share, both from experience and education, and I am very proud to provide a platform for that to happen on. I want this to be a place of support and socialization, a place where we all free comfortable to share our problems and what we are experiencing. Maybe we can find others who have had similar experiences and are able to provide feedback, ideas, or suggestions on how to make it easier to go through.

You are all invited to join. Just click the “Register” link on the top of the page. Then anytime you want to login, click the “Log In” link on the top of the page. Like I already said, it’s free. I have footed the bill on this one. Enjoy!

Reflections, 3rd Edition

Good News! I have decided to write a third edition of Reflections. I intend on trying to get this book published. This revision will be a combination of 90 Poems in 90 Days and Reflections, 2nd Edition. There are also self-help sections and mental health sections added.

This is very exciting! I have also decided to dedicate myself to seeing all of my books published. I am going to follow through with this, no matter what.

This website and blog have been paid for until December of 2026. I will continue to build this blog while I finish writing UNHINGED and revising my other two books.

This is a very exciting time for me, and I certainly do have my work cut out for me to see these goals to fruition. Follow along on this blog, as I talk about my efforts on these books. Feel free to comment and get involved. I would love to hear what you have to say.

I will be sharing some of my work as I complete the revision. It will be found in this category of the blog.

Stop by this website and blog anytime you want! Drop me an email or comment below. Thanks for stopping by! Come back again soon!

90 Poems in 90 Days

Back in 2010, I started a blog called 90 Poems in 90 Days on WordPress.com. I didn’t quite finish the effort in time because of a bad case of writer’s block. The rough draft to the manuscript that resulted from it is still in my possession, and I have always intended on finishing the effort and to see it published.

I really enjoyed working on that effort, and I would love to share it again. I will be including some posts in the future that will give a sample of what’s included in this draft of the book.

Eventually (in about 2014) I decided to include these works in the 2nd Edition of Reflections that I was working on. I felt that it made for a nice revision to include my works of poetry that are less spiritually inspired.

In the next year, I intend of working on this effort again. I have plans to publish it around the time I will be publishing the book I am working on now, UNHINGED.

Keep your eyes open for further information about this as time goes by. I will post new information as it becomes known to me in this category on the blog. I have separate categories for each book I have written, and all information will be posted in the appropriate category.

Have a great day! Stop back again soon!

Sincerely, R. Kline

My Deadline…

I decided that I will finish the final draft of UNHINGED by December 31, 2026. I have high hopes that I will be done well before that point. There are a few people I would like to talk to who were around during that time, but we are no longer speaking. Some people stopped talking to me because of my problems. This is something I have gotten used to in life. My illness drives people away.

I really do try not to let this get me down. I try not to let anything get me down. I don’t like being depressed at all. It’s no fun.

One goal I have is to have someone in mind to publish my book by the time I am done writing it. I have never had a book published before, and I am very nervous about the process. I have heard that reputable publishing companies should publish it without it costing me anything, but there are companies that will publish any book for a price. I have already decided that, even if it comes to paying for it, I will see this book published. As you can see, I am already advertising the book on this website and marketing it here as well.

At this point, I find my blog to be too business-minded and not entertaining enough. It’s probably because I am not sharing the exciting parts of the book yet. I am in the process of writing them, but it leaves this blog feeling very stale and dry. I wish there was something I could do about that, but this is how it needs to be at the moment. I don’t want to give too much away just yet.

Rest assured that there is more to come…

Three major breakdowns in five years. Nanobots. Voices of the feds and more. Fleets of drones. Stalkers hiding in the woods. A kinky website. Two evictions. Miles and miles of dirt roads. Technology problems. Online stalkers. There were even a few drugs involved.

And then there was a high-speed police chase through two counties that ended in a car crash and a prison sentence.

I eventually get to try and rebuild my life, which is what stage I am in now.

Things settled down for a while, but my old friends have resurfaced to help with writing this book. Interesting. Believe me, it does get more interesting than what you have read here to this point. Stick around. There is going to be more.

In the meantime, I am going to post some posts about my other books and other blogs. One of these blogs may be published again in the near future. I just have to see if the files still exist on the host and renew the account. Those files are very valuable to me at this point. I would love to get my hands on them because I devoted so much time to working on them. Months. And what’s in them is so valuable to this book I am writing, UNHINGED.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! It’s in its infancy, so please bear with me as I continue to develop this blog. It’s going to take some time. Stop back again anytime you want. You are always welcome here!

Sincerely, R. Kline

Building, Writing, Creating

I got a lot of writing done these last few days, and I really enjoyed it. It was difficult to deal with everything I went through, but that didn’t last. It felt too nice to be accomplishing something.

In addition to writing UNHINGED, I wrote to the blog, too. It’s just as important to work on the book as it is to build this blog. By the time the book is finished, I want this website and blog to be fully developed and fully functioning. I am hoping for members in the community and a growing Bipolar Support Group there as well. I know it’s a lot of work, but I do feel as though it will be worth it in the end.

At the point the book is finished being written and ready to be published, a new game begins. This is not one I am familiar with, but I am willing to learn to play the game. The game is called getting the book published. I have no experience in this area, and I am open to suggestions. I am hoping that it won’t cost me anything to get the book published, but if it does, I am ready to cross that bridge when it appears before me. I know that some smaller publishing companies require that.

In addition to writing this book and to blogging about it here, I am also keeping a daily journal in the hopes that I can turn that into a book as well. This is a lot of writing, but I enjoy it.

Thanks again for taking the time to stop by and read what I have written! I appreciate your continued interest and moral support. You’re welcome to visit this site as often as you like. Feel free to take a look around and to sign up for the community. It’s free!

Take care and have a great Sunday!

Sincerely, R. Kline
